The Journal on Cybercrime & Digital Investigations (CybIN) is published by CECyF, the French Cybercrime Centre of Excellence.
The purpose of this journal is the publication of articles in the scientific, technical, legal and other disciplines that contribute to the understanding and the fight against cybercrime, as well as the practice of digital investigations.
CybIN accepts the following types of papers (in French or English, English is preferred for technical papers to ensure a wider audience):

When first submitting a paper for review, it should be provided in one of the following electronic formats: PDF, ODT, DOC/DOCX. To allow for blind peer review, all indications of the authors should be removed in the content of the document and in its properties.

To submit a new paper, please follow this link, follow the 5-step submission process and send your paper for review. Don’t forget that when first submitting a paper, you should remove any mention of the name and affiliation of the author(s) from the content of the document and its properties.
The journal has a policy of “Zero Tolerance to Plagiarism”. We check plagiarism via two methods: reviewer check and a selected plagiarism prevention tool.
CybIN provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. No fees will be claimed from readers and documents are published in easily accessible formats (PDF or HTML). The license of publications on CybIN is the Creative Commons Attribute license (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).
No publication fees are expected from authors. CybIN is supported by CECyF, the French Cybercrime Centre of Excellence, a not for profit organisation dedicated to developing prevention, training and research against cybercrime. If you would like to support CECyF and you are a private company, an academic organisation or a public administration, please ask to join the organisation.
Copyright on any article published by CECyF’s journal CybIN is retained by the author(s). Authors grant CECyF (and CybIN) a license to publish the article and identify itself as the original publisher. Authors also grant any third party the right to use the article freely as long as its original authors, citation details and publisher are identified.
